As someone who travels to Thailand very often for work and loves my Thai food, I always have random cravings for this tasty food. Luckily, here in Singapore, we have no shortage of Thai restaurants to go to when the cravings strike, and better yet, here’s another affordable Thai cafe to add to the list.

Make your way to Rod Dee Thai Coffee in Outramthe latest thai cafe on our radar to serve affordable thai food with sector less than S$10!

Aptly named Rod Deewhich means “good taste” in Thai, enjoy your favorite Thai dishes from Thai noodles (S$8.80) perfume Thai basil rice with pork or chicken (S$8.80) served with a sunny side, and even the evergreen favorite – tender sticks of moo ping (grilled pork skewers, $7.80). The menu is quite extensive with a variety of familiar Thai dishes ranging from starters and main courses to seafood, curries and soups.

But if you have a thing for Thai Boat Noodles, be sure to order a serving here. The broth is infused for almost 12 hours a day ensuring that the boat noodles are filled with hearty flavor, and you can also choose any noodles you want! Glass noodles, mama noodles, rice noodles or kway teow noodles, just take your pick.

Otherwise, if you want to try more dishes instead of just ordering a main dish, feel free to try other dishes like those recommended by the chef. Fried sea bass with mango salad (S$26.80) and Rod Dee Tom Yum Goong (S$15.80) – or the usual choices like Minced pork omelette (S$9.80) and Lala with Thai chili paste (S$12.80).

Of course, no Thai meal is complete without Thai desserts. Choose from everyone’s favorites Mango sticky rice (S$8.80) with juicy mango on a bed of sticky sweet sticky rice generously drizzled with coconut milk, for Red Ruby (S$5.80), Mango sago (S$5.80) and Coconut ice cream (S$2.80 per scoop).

For drinks, apart from the usual Thai teas, we mean the refreshing Coconut mixed with ice cream (S$5.80) is really good too.

So if you are looking for the next Thai spot that will make you go there “aroy mak mak!” (“very very delicious” in Thai), here’s a place to go next!

PS: They also have a Lunch set at S$10.80 which includes boat noodles or rice, plus a side dish and drink you might want to check out.
