Tourism is picking up in South Africa and the rest of the continent, and Minor Hotels in Thailand is investing accordingly.

John Maytham interviewed Lindi Mthethwa of Minor Hotels Africa about their plans for South Africa.

Tourism in Africa is recovering well after the COVID-19 pandemic, which has led to the expansion of a major international hotel group on the continent.

Minor Hotels is considering expanding into South Africa, where it does not currently operate.

The Thai hotel group has 29 hotels and lodges in the rest of Africa.

Travelers can find his properties in Zambia, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Lesotho, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar.

Minor Hotels owns brands such as Anantara Five Star Hotels and Avani Four Star Hotels.
